Profiles

Profiles store a reusable group of cutter settings. They are useful when one printer, material, or workflow needs the same geometry repeatedly.

Select a profile

Open Profile and choose a saved name. Cookiecad Default Settings restores the standard profile values. A (modified) label appears when the current profile-controlled settings no longer match the selected profile.

The uploaded design is not treated as a reusable profile characteristic. Finished size is kept separate by default. A profile saved with Include finished size enabled controls the size too, so loading it resizes the current design.

Save current settings

Enter a profile name and select Save. Enable Include finished size when that size is part of the reusable setup. Leave it disabled when the profile should apply manufacturing settings without resizing the design. Entering an existing profile name updates that profile.

Profiles are a Premium feature.

Delete a profile

Open the profile list and select the close icon beside a saved profile. The default Cookiecad profile cannot be deleted.

Reset to defaults

Reset to defaults resets cutter settings, size, material, advanced options, and the selected profile. It does not delete saved profiles or designs.
